Philly Greek Cheese Steak

I have a confession to make…

BUT! Before I tell you, would you allow me to tell you a secret?

Well, it’s not a big secret. In fact, you may already know, especially if you know me. The secret is…I don’t really like to cook!

I KNOW!!! Please don’t hate on me! Cooking has never been my strong suit. Your probably thinking this is going to be a disaster already!

Well…I am going to put your doubts to rest. You may not believe me, but it’s true!

My confession?

I confess that this Philly “Greek” Cheese Steak was AMAZING!!!

You just have to try it. If you try it and you don’t like it, tell me. If you try it and you do, TELL ME!

I seriously want to know. This is my own recipe not pinned from Pinterest, not copied.

The Ingredient list:

4 Round Steaks

1/2 Large Yellow Onion

1/2 Bag of Sweet Peppers or as many as desired

1 Tablespoon of Minced Garlic*

1 Tablespoon of Butter*

1/2 Teaspoon of Salt*

1/2 Teaspoon of Pepper*

1/2 Teaspoon of Beef Bullion Powder*

1/2 Teaspoon of French’s Worcestershire Sauce*

1 Teaspoon of Cavender’s All Purpose Greek Seasoning*

(*Or to desired taste)

6 Hotdog Buns

Slivers of butter for taste

6 slices of Mozzarella Cheese, folded in half

Shredded Mozzarella Cheese as desired


So let’s get started!


The first thing you will want to do is cut up you onions and peppers to sauté in the pan.


Then add your garlic.


MMmmm…this is already smelling SO GOOD!

Did I forget the peppers???

Oh there they are!


Next, add your salt, pepper, beef bullion powder, and worcestershire sauce. Then, you will want to slice your steaks into strips and add to the mixture with butter. (Note: My meat was frozen and then thawed. This is why it doesn’t look juicy red)

It should look like this when it has all cooked down.


We are almost done!

Next, turn your oven to broil on low.

Place the hotdog buns on the pan. Add slivers of butter for toasty goodness and then add the sliced mozzeralla cheese.



Place the pan in the oven until the bun is toasted and the cheese is melted.


All that is left to do is plate and taste!

OH! I added a little shredded mozzarella cheese to top it off.


I have to tell you, my friends…this was DISH~delish! At least, I think so.
